Doris Ann Cloud, age 68, passed away at 7:35 a.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Kindred Hospital in Lima, Ohio.  She was born in Florence, Alabama on July 25, 1956, to Moses and Aurelia (Oakley) Thompson.  Both parents preceded her in death.

On March 22, 1978, she married Robert W. Cloud, Jr.  He preceded her in death.

Doris was a staff member at Baton Rouge Nursing Home.  She loved to fish and go to the casino.  Doris loved and enjoyed her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, sons:  Robert (Gloria Davis) Cloud, and Frederick Cloud both of Lima, OH. 1 daughter:  Shameeka Cloud of Lima, OH.  2 sisters:  Alma J. (Ernest Carroll) Embry of Lima, OH; and Martha (Hoke) Hampton of Florence, AL.  1 brother:  Jack (Lucille) Thompson of Florence, AL.  9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Doris is preceded in death by 3 grandchildren.  6 brothers:  Eugene Thompson, Earlie Thompson, Hugh Thompson, Henderson Thompson, Alex Thompson and Frankie Williams.   2 sisters:  Shirley Howard and Florine Williams.  2 in-laws:  Robert W. Cloud, Sr. and Mary L. Cloud.

Home Going Services will be held Friday, October 11, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Williams officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service, also at the funeral home.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
