Donna Lee "Mama" Cook,  age 71, passed from this life on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at approximately 5:32 p.m. at her residence in Lima, Ohio.

She was born I Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1946 to the union of Clarence and Catherine (Martin) Gant, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Edward Cook who preceded her death.

"Mama" as she was affectionately called at Stormy's where she cooked, was a Loving woman who was not just a mother to her own children, but a mother to the community and she will be sadly missed.  She also worked as an aide  at Tender Home Care and was a member of Set Free Ministries.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Darnell Mahone  and his wife Andrea of Orlando, FL.  3 daughters; Gina Gant, Catherine Munday "Stormy" and Dana Adkins all of Lima.  6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  A brother; Clarence Gant, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA and a sister; Velma Walker (Robert) of Dallas, TX.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Shada Mahone. 2 brothers;  James Gant and Rev. Norman Gant.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February  24, 2018  at 4:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Church with Rev. Tony Joiner, officiating.  This will be a celebration of her life, not her death, please do not wear Black.
