Diane Freeman, age 73, transitioned from this life on Saturday, December 16,2023 at 11:53 a.m. at Shawnee Manor in Lima, OH.  She was born on March 1, 1950 in Lima, Ohio to Oscar Cain and Edna Mae Banks.  Both parents proceeded her in death.  She also leaves her loving Stepfather, Frank J. Lamar, Sr.

Diane was a homemaker and she loved her family. She attended St. John's Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching television and loved to listen to music.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 5 sons: Ricardo Freeman of Lima, OH; Donte' Freeman, Angelo Freeman, Calvin Freeman, Jr., Michael Freeman, all of Marion, OH.  1 daughter: Francenna Freeman of Marion, OH.  2 brothers: Tracy A. Lamar and Ralph C. (Andrea) Lamar, both of Lima, OH.  1 sister: Reginia M. Lamar of Cincinnati, OH.  She leaves a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her brother, Frank J. Lamar Jr.

Home Going Services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Sharon Jefferson officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. also at Jones-Clark Funeral Home.
