Mr. DeWayne Justin Brown, age 33, passed from this life on Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was born on May 21, 1989 in Lima, Ohio to DeWayne Brown and Stacy Lynn Brown. Both parents survive in Lima, OH.

DeWayne graduated from Shawnee High School class of 07'. He was a very athletic and talented athlete. He played football for Shawnee High and went on to play basketball for The Toledo Rockets. He also worked for the United States Postal Services. DeWayne loved running and playing video games.  He was a really popular person who will be missed by all who loved him most.

Besides his loving parents, DeWayne leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sisters, Niki Brown of Atlanta, GA and Aeshia Brown of Tennessee; paternal grandmother, Joyce Reyolds; a maternal uncle, Clark (Angela) White of Lima, OH; 2 maternal aunts, Marsha Dillard of Atlanta, GA and Wendy (Lessie) Long of Canal Winchester, OH; 4 paternal uncles: Sam L. (Odessa) Brown, Walter L. Brown both of Lima, OH, Tommy J. (Natasha) Brown of Columbus, OH and Rico Williams of Lima, OH; 2 paternal aunts, Nietra Glenn of Lima, OH and Nikita Brown of Carolina along with a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Sam Brown and Sadie Brown; maternal grandfather, Harold Reynolds.
