Mr. Dennis James Richardson, age 68, passed from this life on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

He was born on December 31, 1955   in Lima, Ohio  to Jolly Richardson and Frances (Wright) Richardson.  Both his parents preceded him in death.  He was formerly married to Denise O'Neal Richardson who survives in Lima.

Mr. Richardson retired as a Chemical Operator at Cenovus Refinery.  He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity at the University of Michigan, and he loved to fish.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory five sons:  Devron J. Richardson (Carolina) of Delray Beach, FL., Derek R. Richardson (Rachel) of Lima, Dennis J. Richardson of Lima, Taylor D. Richardson of Toledo and Michael  Purdy of Lima.  A daughter; Amber Morris of Lima.  A sister-in-law; Theresa Bailey Wright. 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother; Perry Wright.

Home Going Services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024  at 12:00 p.m. the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Damian Tibbs, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
