Mrs. Deloris Jean Ramsey, age 62, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at approximately  9:58 p.m.   at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born on October 22, 1952, in Decatur, Alabama to Woodrow and Christina Harvey Ricks Hurley, both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony to Oliver Ramsey who preceded her in death on June 22, 2005.   Mrs. Ramsey was a homemaker who will truly be missed by her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 5 sons; Dion L. Hurley of Los Angeles, CA, Cornelius S. Ramsey (Susanna) of Leesville, LA.  Rodriquez O. Hurley, Terrance A. Ramsey and Corinthian Banks all of Lima. 3 daughters; Trayonna M. Ramsey of Lima.  Donna Brino-Blackwell (Gaylen) of Springfield, OH and Tracy Rone of Denver, CO.  5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  5 brothers;  Henry Hurley (Louise), Donald Walker (Monica), Mark Walker and Lester R. Ricks all of Lima.  Vincent E. Ricks of Houston, TX.  A sister-in-law; Meredith Ricks of Lima.  A lifelong friend; Carol R. James (Jerry) of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by a brother; Luther Ricks and a sister; Matilda Hurley.
