DeJuan Kelani Adams, Jr., age 26, passed from this life on Saturday, July 23, 2023, at 12:39 a.m. in Lima, Ohio.  He was born May 24, 1996, in Lima, Oho to DeJuan Kelani Adams, Sr. and Aretha Ingram-Shurelds.

DeJuan graduated from Lima Senior High School in 2015.  He loved his son dearly and was so proud of being a father.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  Some of his hobbies included playing various video games.  He also enjoyed hosting dice games and playing cards.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory his son: Elijah Adams of Lima, Ohio. His parents: DeJuan (Tricia) Adams, Sr., Ellis Simmons, Jr. and Areatha Shurelds, all of Lima, Ohio.   His siblings:  Rammie Manley, Jr., Aryanna Ingram, Nautica Adams, Alexes Jones, Elisha Groce, Kavon Watkins, Nashila Watkins, Armani Jones, AuJena Walker, Meshaud Moore, Tatiana Shurelds, DeJuan Adams, Jr. and Angel Adams.  Maternal grandfather: Arthur Darby. Maternal grandmother: Sharon Ingram.  Aunts: Yanoica Simpson and Kathleen Darby.  Uncle: Jason Ingram.  Favorite nephew: Camaron Lott, Jr.; favorite niece: Alay'liana Desilva; and favorite cousins: Akazha Ragland and Marsheena Darby.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Cheryl Adams; paternal great-grandmother, Esther Adams; and uncle Jermaine Ingram.

Home Going Services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Rev. James Bolling, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on, Monday, August 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.

Interment – Woodlawn Cemetery
