Mr. Da'Veon Da'Jior Petaway, age  19,  passed from this life on Monday, March 7, 2016 at approximately  9:36 p.m   in Lima.

He was born on September 15, 1996 in Lima, Ohio to Bre'Shawn Petaway and Takela Florence, both parents survive in Lima.

He was a member of In Faith Ministries.  He attended Lima Senior High School.  Da'Veon loved football, basketball, boxing, making music and being with friends and family.

Besides his loving parents he leaves to cherish his memory, 7 brothers; Tyronne Florence, Kane Petaway, Zi'Arie Petaway, Raj'Jeon Petaway, Cori'onte Cowan, Ra'shawn Petaway and Darod Florence.  4 sisters;  Shaikaija Denson, Iyona Petaway, Da'Quoya Petaway and KeOusha Florence.   Maternal grandmother;  Sabrina Florence of Lima.  Maternal great-grandfather; Ray Banks of Lima. Paternal grandfather; George Payne of Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by a brother;  Khylil Florence.  Maternal grandfather; Joe Florence .  Paternal grandmother; Marcel Petaway. Paternal great grandmother; Lillie Hughes Petaway.

Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Mary Petaway, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will begin at 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the Funeral Home.

Interment - Woodlawn Cemetery
