Dathan Wayne Gable, age 44, passed from  this life at approximately 3:19 p.m. on Monday,  February 28, 2022 at  St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born on August 26, 1977 to James Gable and Sylvia Upthegrove; both parents preceded him in death.

He was a member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his a daughter; Daelyn Gable of Lima.  3 brothers; Eric L. Upthegrove (Clydea) of Richmond, VA.,  F.M. Jason Upthegrove of Albion, MI  and Reese Gable (Jessica) of Cincinnati, OH.  2 sisters; Gena Senegal of Stuggart, Germany and Rissa Gable of Lima. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Home going services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  with Rev. Arnold Manley, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.
