Mr. Curtis Pollard, Jr., age 51, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at approximately 1:35 p.m. at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Pollard was born on July 24, 1963 in Lula, Mississippi to the union of Curtis and Nina Lee Deberry Pollard, Sr.   His father is deceased and his mother survives in Lima.

On September 15, 2001 he was united in holy matrimony to Jacqueline Lester, she survives in Lima.

He worked at Dana Corporation and worked part time at the Civic Center and MRDD.  He was member of New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides his loving wife Jacqueline, he leaves to cherish his precious memory a son;  Curtis Thomas Pollard III of Lima.  Two daughters;  Kerryeann Davis of Holly Grove, Ark and Shanika L. Pollard of Lima.  A special daughter; Iatia Diamond of Columbus, OH.  Six grandchildren; LaMarrius, Demetrius, Jordan, Jasolyn, Kay`Lei, Devyn.   Two sisters:  Jospehine Deberry and Margaret Pollard both of Lima.   A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Annette Deberry and Denise Deberry.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.  at St. Johns' Catholic Church with Rev. Kennedy Dennard, officiating and Bishop Ernest Mayer, eulogizing.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the  family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.
