Mr. Cory Trance Spence, Sr., age 40, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2014 at approximately 2:50 am. at St. Joseph Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN.

He was born in Lima, Ohio on April 13, 1974 to Charles Godsey and Stephanie Spence.  His mother is deceased and his father Charles (Roxanne) survives in Toledo.

On February 10, 2005 he was united in holy matrimony to Quetilla F. Ellis who survives in Ft. Wayne, IN.

He was a member of Good News Church in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Besides his loving wife Quetilla he leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Servone Spence of Lima and Cory T. Spence, Jr. of Ft. Wayne, IN.  A daughter;  De'Nicquae Spence of Lima.  2 stepsons:  Quincy Hollomom and Ja'Mearion Hollomon boh of Lima.  2 stepdaughters:  Tyy'nk Ellis and Syy'Maara Ellis of Lima.  4 brothers; Jermaine Spence, of Columbus, OH, Quincy Spence of Dayton, OH.  Davonn Godsey and "Baldy" Godsey both of Lima.  2 sisters:  Terrisha Spence of Indiana and TyLynn Godsey of Columbus, Ohio.

Home going services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 with Rev. Khun Htaik, officiating, at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation/Wake services with begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
