Ms. Corrine Wherry, age 74 , was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at approximately 6:56 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 6, 1941 to the union of David and Ethel Oliver Williams; both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Wherry was formerly a Licensed Practical Nurse at the State Hospital.  She accepted the Lord at an early age at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a Devoted Christian who later united with the Pentecostal Church.  She enjoyed a trip to Jerusalem with her 2 sons Matthew and Gregory.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons;  Andre M. Ramsey-Corbin (Meosha) and Gregory A. Davenport both of Lima.  Matthew L. Davenport of Cincinnati, Ohio.  2 daughters; Pamela Ramsey of Lima and Marcia Jones (Kevin) of Dayton, Ohio.  8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  2 aunts;  Ora Lee Dixon and Mary Jones both of Montgomery, AL.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister; Dorothy K. McFadden.

Home going services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Robert Horrison, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held at 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 am.
