Mrs. Cora Mae (Williams) Simpson,  age 85 , passed from this life on  Monday, November 4, 2019 at 12:48 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

She was born on April 13, 1934 in Loman, Mississippi to Stan Williams and Mary Etta  Walton; both parents preceded her in death.  She was raised by her aunt and uncle Daniel and Bernice Rucker in Chicago.

She was married to Mr. Leroy Simpson, Sr.  who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Simpson was a Homemaker and will be truly missed by her friends and family. She loved to cook for her family and friends.  She was known for her card games and her love for the Blues.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 5 sons; Durand Simpson, Leroy Simpson, Jr., Robert Simpson (Linda), Anthony Simpson (Clarissa) and Jeffrey Simpson (Kelli) all of Lima.   Daughter-in-law; Pamela Simpson.  23 grandchildren,  41 great-grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A brother; Elhue Monroe of Lima.  3 sisters; Betty Collins, Lucille Monroe and Anita Monroe all of Lima.   A special brother- Ernest Walton of Chicago, special son; Jeremy Calhoun.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son; Terry Simpson.  2 sisters; Etta Cooks and Berotha Gaines.  2 brothers; Leonard Bingham, Sr. and Roma Monroe, Sr.

Home Going Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Arnold Manley, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
