Clayton Alan Ingram, age 69, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 7:44 am at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on August 10, 1954, to Eddie Battle and Mae Frances Ingram in Lima, Ohio. Both parents preceded him in death. He was married to Audrey M. Edwards on September 5, 1992, until her death. On July 11, 2010, he married Cora L. Irons. She survives in Lima, Ohio.
Clayton was employed at Oakwood Correctional Facility as a Psychiatric Attendant. He had an Associate Degree from Wilmington College. Clayton was union president of the Oakwood Correctional Facility for many years. Clayton was known as Pacdaddy and Claybone. He was a faithful fan of The Ohio State University, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Clayton was a member of the Lima chapter of the Black Panthers.

(Ricky) Lyles of Toledo, OH; Shenille N. Jennings of Columbus, OH; and Tymesha (Brandon) Doswell of Columbus, OH. 2 brothers: Norman (Kim) Battle of Lima, OH and Paul (Susan) Battle of GA. 4 sisters: Elizabeth Griffin of AZ; Gloria (Myrle) Pollard of Pittsburgh, PA; Andrella (Karl) Isaak of Pittsburgh, PA; Barbara L. Battle of Cincinnati, OH. 8 Grandchildren. 6 brothers-in-law: James Irons of Marion, OH; Jeffrey Irons of Lima, OH; Kayne Irons of Lima, OH; Eric (Laura) Irons of Columbus, OH; Justin Irons of Lima, OH, and Ronnie Edwards of Lima, OH. 5 sisters-in-law: Mattie J. (Terry) Thompson of Florence, AL; Julia (Willie) Jackson of Lima, OH; Linda Irons of Lima, OH; LaCynthia Reeder of Columbus, OH; and Kelly L. Kerby of Cookeville, TN. A Godson: David Gulley. A host of other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Roosevelt Ingram and Edward Ingram.
Home Going Services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at One Church with Pastor Paul Ross officiating.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00-8:00 pm at Jones-Clark Funeral Home.
Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery
