Mr. Clark Dukes, 65, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Clark was born on July 24, 1960, in Lima, Ohio, to James Sr. and Catherine (Ward) Dukes, who both preceded him in death.

Although Clark had no children of his own, he lovingly raised three of his great-great-nephews, Daviontae, DeMontae, and DaJore, who were very dear to his heart. In his leisure time, Clark enjoyed playing music and dancing the night away, bringing joy and energy to those around him.

He leaves to cherish his memory six brothers: Glenn (Eva) Dukes of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Elder Phillip (Moira) Dukes of Champaign, Illinois; Steve Dukes of Lima, Ohio; James (Evelyn) Dukes Jr. of Lima, Ohio; Ned (Gloria) Dukes of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Scott Dukes of Dayton, Ohio. He is also survived by three special friends, Gizzo Simpson, Lawrence Bryant, and George Lovelace, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Clark was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Mosley.

A lifelong resident of the community, Clark will be remembered for his infectious laughter, warm spirit, and jokes he shared with all who knew and loved him.

A viewing to honor and celebrate Clark’s life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., until the time of service at the Jones Clark Funeral Home Chapel.
