Mr. Cisco R. Cartwright, age 49, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 5:51 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

Cisco was born on March 14, 1977, in Lima, Ohio, to Michael A. Smith and LaDonna M. Cartwright. His father preceded him in death, and his mother, LaDonna M. Cartwright, resides in Columbus, Georgia.

Cisco had a love for music, games, and automobiles, especially Chevrolet vehicles. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

In addition to his father, Cisco was preceded in death by his brother, Kyle Smith, his maternal grandparents Melvin Newsome and Lessie Cartwright; and paternal grandparents Willie and Easter Smith.

He leaves to cherish his spouse and best friend Marsha Fuqua of Lima, Ohio; five children: Duran Glenn, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky; Jamar Cartwright of Lima, Ohio; Taira Glenn of Columbus, Ohio; Kenya Cartwright of Houston, Texas; and Nalayia Cartwright of Lima, Ohio, four beloved grandchildren, with another grandchild expected soon.

He is also survived by seven siblings: Antonio (LaShonda) Roberts, Torrey Roberts, Javin (Faith) Smith, Timothy Wannemacher, and Mark Wannemacher, all of Lima, Ohio; Michael Brownlow of Toledo, Ohio; and Mercedes Cartwright of Columbus, Georgia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss him.

Cisco's kindness, sense of humor, and love for his family will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Jones-Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00pm with viewing being held two hours prior to the time of service.
