Christopher Eugene Shine, age 63, passed this life peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2026, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

Christopher was born on May 21, 1963, to the late Lorse and Sarah L. (Simpson) Shine both proceeded him in death.

Christopher was a self-employed construction worker and took great pride in his work. Of all the work he did, he especially loved laying carpet. Outside of work, Christopher enjoyed watching sports, particularly basketball, playing cards, and, most of all, spending time surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Tiffany, of Florida; five brothers, Lewis (Sandra) Shine Sr. , Jimmie Shine, and Larry Shine, all of Lima, Ohio; Dennis Shine of Columbus, Ohio; and Steven Shine of Tampa, Florida; three sisters, Margie Foster and Sarah Shine, both of Lima, Ohio; and Beverly Shine of Atlanta, Georgia; Four uncles; Samuel Simpson Jr., Eddie Shine, Ellis Allen and Lester Booker; Three aunts: Josephine Brown, Bertha M. Upshaw and Willa Simpson, along with other family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever hold him in their hearts..

Beside his parents Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents; Sammie Simpson, Bertha Simpson, Lonnie Shine and Mamie R. Brown.

Christopher will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through his family, the moments they shared, and the love he gave to those around him.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Jones-Clark Funeral Home Chapel 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
