Cheryl Renee Summerhill, age 53, passed from this life on Monday, August 18, 2014 in Marlin, Texas.

She was born in Lima, Ohio on May 10, 1961 to Alex "Poor Flat"  Armstead, Sr. and Edith Catherine Summerhill, both parents preceded her in death.

Cheryl was a homemaker; she loved to cook and was always helping her community with an open door policy.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons; Dwayne Summerhill and Lewis Browning, Jr. both of Ft. Worth, TX.  Corey  Summerhill of Lima.  A daughter; Moesha Browning of Ft. Worth, TX.  Seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  7 brothers;  James Haney, Felix Armstead, Charles Armstead, Kenneth Armstead, Alexander Armstead all of Lima, Ohio.  John Armstead and Alex Armstead, Jr. both of Florence, AL.  5 sisters;  Janice Haney of Ft. Worth, TX, Barbara Lewis of Huber Heights, OH, Harriet Sanders of Lima, Ohio.   Shirley Barry  and Sazzie Thompson both of Florence, AL.  A special friend; Lamar Simpson of Marlin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by a son;  Isaiah Geary,  a sister;   Mattie Guina   and a brother; Henry Summerhill.
