Mrs. Carrie Bell Rose, age 84, passed from this life on Friday, June 22, 2018 at approximately 6:55 a.m. at her residence in Lima surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on October 14, 1933 in Columbia, Mississippi to the union of Ernest and Martha (Echols) Leggett both parents are deceased.

On July 9, 1951 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Alexander Rose, Sr. ; he preceded her in death on December 3, 2007.  Her longtime companion; Mr. James McLellan also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Rose was a Homemaker, she will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons; Alexander Rose, Jr.  (Tawana) and Belgium Rose (Stacey) both of Lima.  8 daughters; Rosie Kitchen, Rosemary Cannon, Dondeline Reynolds (Bobby), Juliet Johnson (James), Shirley Rose, Linda Thompson (Jody) and Shannon Tyler all of Lima.  Marlon White (Keith) of Ft. Wayne, IN.  33 grandchildren,  62 great-grandchildren  and  28 great-great grandchildren.  3 nephews; Isaac, Jr., Charles and Jerry Daniel.

Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by a son; Telly Savalas Rose.  A sister; Jessie Bell Daniels.  3 deceased  granddaughters; Faye, Asia, and Miracle.  2 sons-in-law; Will Tyler, Jr.  and Floyd "Marty" Cannon.  3 brothers-in-law; Isaac Daniel, Eddie James Wynn and Louis Wynn.

Home Going Services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018   at 12:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Arnold Manley, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment:  Memorial Park Cemetery
