Mrs. Carrie Sue Campbell, age 70, passed from this life on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at approximately 12:32 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was born on June 7, 1951 in Lima, Ohio to Wiley R. and Irene (Ward) Garner; both parents preceded her in death.

On April 4, 1980 she was united in holy matrimony to Elder Willie F. Campbell who survives in Lima.

Mrs. Campbell worked at Westinghouse /Sun Strand for over 20 years. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from UNOH.  She then retired from the accounting department at UNOH after many years.  She was the First Lady of Mt. Olivet Church of God In Christ.  She worked with the YPWW, Sunshine Band, Sunday School Teacher and sang in the Choir.  She also sold Home Interior products, and she loved spending time with her family, church family and friends and had a contagious smile that could light up a room.

Besides her loving husband Elder Campbell she leaves to cherish her precious memory 4 sons; Maurice Garner of Lima.  William Campbell (Dawna), Stephen Campbell (Patricia) and Joshua Campbell all of Columbus, OH. A daughter; Kara Campbell (Kevin) of Columbus, OH. 3 step-sons; Peter Grier of Atlanta, GA.  Tyrone Campbell (Sandra) of Ft. Wayne, IN. Hollis Daniels (Jess) of Kenton, OH and a step-daughter; Joyce Smith of Macon, GA.  3 grandchildren; Kheyvon, Kevin, Jr. and Sanai.  26 step-grandchildren and a host of step- great-grandchildren.  2 brothers; Roger Garner (Nita) and Allan "Lynn" Garner both of Lima. 2 sisters; Nancy Wilkerson and Shirley Garner-Harris (Lexaville) both of Lima. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her step-father; Lawrence Turner.  Father-in-law; Barron Campbell, Sr. and Mother-in-law; Dorothy Barr-Scott.  A step-daughter; Betty A. Lewis and a step-grandson; Tavares Clay.    A brother-in-law: Charlie Wilkerson and 2 nieces; Connie Yvette Jones and Tennille Haithcock.

Home Going Services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Church of God in Christ, with Pastor Kenneth Keys, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the Church.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
