Mr. Carlos Racine Callahan, age 62, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 9:35 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

Mr. Callahan was born on August 4, 1954 in Lima, Ohio to the union of James E. and Annie Lee (Corpening) Callahan, Sr.  His father is deceased and his mother survives in Lima.

On June 25, 1984 he was united in holy matrimony to Barbara (Williams) Callahan who survives in Lima.

Mr. Callahan worked at Dana Corporation and was a member of the U.A.W. 1765  He attended Bowling Green State University and was an avid Oakland Raiders Fan.

Besides his loving wife Barbara he leaves to cherish his precious memory a son: Taj M. Callahan (Brittiney) of Lima.  2 daughters:  Takisha L. Washington of Columbus, OH and Sarita Arrone (Lamont) of Dayton, Ohio.   7 grandchildren.  5 brothers;  James E. Callahan Sr. (Carolyn) of Louisville, KY.  Ronald E. Callahan (Greta) and Timothy L. Callahan both of Lima.  LeeLwyn R. Callahan (Jackie) of Atlanta, GA and Terrance L. Callahan (Monique) of Ontario, Canada.  A sister;  Arlema Pace (William) of Lester, W. VA.  A special brother-in-law:  Johnny Williams of Lima.  Brother-in-law; Samuel W. Williams, 2 sisters-in-law; Jo Coffey and Aderis Cole all of Florence, AL.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter; Andrea Barnett and a sister; Ardrema Callahan.

Services will be delayed because of the illness of a family member.
