Mr. Booker Marquis Thomas, age 49, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 14, in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born on September 28, 1972 to Will C. and Josie M. (Pitts) Thomas, who preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Northland High School in Columbus, Ohio and earned an Electronic Engineering degree from DeVry University also in Columbus, Ohio.  He worked for UPS Freight for 19 years.  He played football for the mighty Bulldogs and North Junior HS before leaving Lima for Columbus.  He really enjoyed and loved spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory of 3 children and a grandson: Da'mere Thomas (son), Myleiah Thomas and Daysha'na Mann-Williams (daughters), Dallas Williams (grandson) all from Columbus, Ohio. Also, his brother Will C. Thomas III and niece and nephew, Amariah K. Thomas and Will C. Thomas IV of Columbus, Ohio. Along with a host of other relatives and friends.
