Bonnie Kay (Holland) Johnson, age 87, passed away from this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
Bonnie was born on October 30, 1938, in Farmerville, Ohio, to the late Howard and Ruby (McDaniel) Holland. Both of her parents preceded her in death.
Bonnie devoted many years of service to her community. She worked at Kettering Medical Center, where she served as a senior secretary before retiring. She later worked for the City of Dayton Police Department, where she was known for her exceptional speed and accuracy in typing police reports, before retiring from the department.
Bonnie was a proud member of the Moose Lodge in Lakeview, Ohio, where she served as a trustee and where she was the first woman board member.
Bonnie leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, William Snider of Lima, Ohio; granddaughter, Tori Beck; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Silsas, and Sire; daughter-in-law, Susan Snider; sister, Colleen Ater; sister-in-law, Charolette Holland; and a host of loving family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Johnson; her son, Jeffery Snider; and her grandchild, Tyra.
Bonnie will be remembered for the years she dedicated to serving others, her strength and determination, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
