Brother Billy Gene McNeal, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at approximately 8:27 am. at Lima Memorial Health Systems surrounded by his family.

Billy was born on November 20, 1952 in Houston County, Alabama to the union of Lillice Eugene and Willie Maude Lee McNeal.  His father and stepmother Willie Ann McNeal survive in  Lima.  His mother survives in Dothan, Alabama.

On June 28, 1980 he was united in holy matrimony to Weldeana Ann Breaston who survives in Lima. Billy was a graduate of   Lima Senior High School, and went on to graduate from Atterbury Job Corp in Edinburg, Indiana where he received his certification in    Carpentry.  While at Atterbury Billy mentored many young men. After leaving Atterbury Billy moved to Bellefontaine, Ohio and worked for Westinghouse. Billy moved back to Lima and was employed at Mid Valley Pipe Line.  Wanting to have his own business he became the owner of McNeal Hauling which he operated for many years.  He later went to work for LACCA as a Bus Driver.  During his time at LACCA he became known as Mr. Billy to the staff and children.  Billy and his good friend and fellow Bus Driver Jimmy Owens were loved by all the staff and children.  After he left LACCA he worked for Ann's Hauling.

Billy was a member of Greater Christ Temple Church where he was a member of the Sunday School Department, Men's Ministry, Sound Technician, and the Transportation Ministry. He loved to play basketball, camping, music and travel, but his favorite hobby was food.  Billy loved eating !!!   Billy and Deana were Foster Parents for Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY) for many years, opening their home and sharing their love for many children over the years.

Besides his loving wife Weldeana he leaves to cherish his    precious memory 10 sons:  DaShawn McNeal from Crooksville, Ohio.  Antino McNeal from Pittsburgh, PA. Clarence McNeal , Vontre McNeal, Davion McNeal and Zacarious McNeal all of Lima,  Donta McNeal from Kenton, OH, Haze Massey from Columbus, OH, Demetrius Latham and Damien Wilkinson both of Cleveland.  Two daughters; Drenessa Wilkinson and Brooklyn McNeal both from Lima. 22 grandchildren.  7 brothers;  Terry Dennard (Carolyn), Rev. Kennedy Dennard (Stephanie), Benny McNeal, Jerome McNeal, Jermey McNeal all of Lima,  Mack Williams (Tiffany) of Kinsey, AL and Ronald McNeal of Columbus, OH.  3 sisters;  Lisa McNeal of Dothan, AL, Teresa McNeal and Dominique McNeal all of Lima
