Ms. Betty Ann Williams, age 70, peacefully passed from this life on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 6:05 p.m. at Liberty Retirement Community in Lima, Ohio.

Betty was born on October 5, 1955, in Lima, Ohio, to the union of Emmett Scott and Lula B. Marion, both of whom preceded her in death.

Betty dedicated many years of service as a housekeeper at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. Through her years of service, she demonstrated a strong work ethic, a caring heart, and a kindness that touched those around her.

Betty was also a former member of Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church in Lima, Ohio, where her faith was an important part of her life.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Quentin D. Gales, and three grandchildren, LaShai Gales, Carrington Gales, and Deauna Falls, all of Lima, Ohio. She is also survived by cousins who were like her siblings, Scott/10th Street Crew, along with other relatives, friends, and loved ones who will continue to hold her memory close to their hearts.

Ms. Betty Ann Williams will be remembered by her family, friends, and community as a faithful, nurturing, hardworking, and kind woman. Betty will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Jones-Clark Funeral Home Chapel 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
