Bessie Lee Miles, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 16, 2013 at approximately 3:00 am. at Lima Manor Nursing Home.
She was born on September 6, 1920 in Carollton County, Mississippi to Jeff and Laura Brown.  Both parents preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory four sons:  Dave Forrest, Jr. (Marie), Jack Love (April) and Oscar Grisby all of Lima.  Joe Nathan (Ophelia) of Greenwood, MS.   Four daughters:  Dorothy Barcus of Atlanta, GA, Della Nichols (Raymond) of Greenwood, MI.  Betty Grisby and Dorothy Burnfield both of Lima, OH.  Thirty-five  grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.  A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter:  Clara Bell Grisby.  Eleven brothers and Eleven sisters.
Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  Visitation will be held at 9:00 am. until time of services at 1:00 p.m.
