Mrs. Berta Dell Walker, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at approximately 10:35 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

She was born on May 31, 1943 to the union of Willie Lee and Lillie Mae (Fleming) Pugh; both parents preceded her in death.

On July 2, 1986 she was untied in holy matrimony to Mr. Algie L. Walker who survives in Lima.

Mrs. Walker retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of service.  She loved to travel and shopping at the Eastside Walmart.  She enjoyed all sports especially ones involving Ohio State, Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Mrs. Walker served in many organizations including; Democratic Caucus, Ford Women's Auxiliary, Spartan Mothers Lima Senior High School, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Board of Directors member for the Council on Aging, St. Rita's Caring Committee for New Mothers and the Committee for the 55th Reunion of the Lima Senior High School Class of 1961

Besides her loving husband Algie, she leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons; Darwin Crawford of Lima and Shawn L. Crawford of Sidney, OH.  A daughter; Constance R. Crawford of Atlanta, GA.  12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Son-in-law; Jesse Williams of Troy, OH. 2 brothers; Preston Pugh (Elmira) and Arthur Pugh (Linda) both of Lima.  A sister; Marvis Bowman (Raymond) of Dayton, OH. A niece she cared for; Sony Roberson and many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and close friends.

She was preceded in death a daughter; Sabrina Williams and a sister; Ruby Roberson.

Home going services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016  at  10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  with Rev. Cleven Jones, officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Allen County Council on Aging.
