Barbara Diane Worthy, age 57 , was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at approximately 3:18 a.m. at  Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 18,  1958 to Mattie Worthy.  Her mother survives in Montgomery, Alabama

Ms. Worthy was retired from the  Allen County Regional Transit Authority as a Supervisor.  She loved cooking, reading, arts & crafts and gardening.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Dominic F. Worthy (Idalisse) of Tucson, Arizona.  2 daughters;  Alicia M. Worthy and Jessica D. Dunbar both of Lima.  6 grandchildren.  3 brothers;  Sullivan Worthy (Diane) of Montgomery, Ala.  Roger Worthy of Elkhart, IN and James Worthy of Montgomery, AL.  2 sister;  Shelly Worthy of Lima.  Valerie Worthy Price (William) of Montgomery, AL.  2 Childhood friends Fannie Sellers and Michelle Hale both of Montgomery, Ala.   A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Home going services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday January 15, 2016 in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home.

Visitation/Wake will be held from 10:00am until time of service with the family present from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm.
