Miss Barbara Ann Whaley, age 77, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at approximately 8:40 a.m. at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

She was born on September 2, 1943 in Valdosta, Georgia to the union of John Benjamin and Eva Mae (Bellamy) Whaley; both parents preceded her in death.

"Aunt Barb" as she was known to all, who knew and loved her, was the light in everyone's heart.  She has had a hand in raising over 35 children during her lifetime as a professional Nanny, she was a Mother to all.   She was truly loved and will be missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by a brother; John Benjamin "Buzzy" Whaley (Paula Oglesbee Whaley and Marylin Hostettler Whaley-Buckel), sisters; Shirley Yvonne Mann (Wallace), Sarah Jeanne Byram (Hampton Raymond "Barney"), Julia Paulette Whaley-Williams (Keith).

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a brother; Anthony Charles Whaley (Nita Kay Petaway, Patricia McLaurin), a sister; Lana Janine Nichols (Wendlon); life-long friend Rosie Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Home going services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev.  Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.  until time of services at 12:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
