Barbara McKinsey, age  65,  went home to be with the Lord  on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at her home in Lima, Ohio.

She was born January 10, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia to the union of Melvin and Willie Mae Johnson Ferrell. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Columbus, Georgia.

On June 13, 1978 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Willie McKinsey he survives in Lima.

Mrs. McKinsey was a member of Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker who will truly be missed by her friends and family.

Besides her loving husband Willie, she leaves to cherish her precious memory  two daughters; Angela Sanders McGraw and Marcella Sanders (George Smith III) both of Lima and a son Roosevelt Sanders Jr. of Lancaster, Ohio.  15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.  3 brothers; Melvin Ferrell Jr (Betty), Charles L. Ferrell (Dorothy), and Johnny Ferrell all of Columbus, GA. Her second families the Cunningham's and Lusters and a host of other family members and friends. All of whom she loved very much.

She was preceded her in death by a son; David Sanders, one sister Marcella Deplush and one brother William Ferrell.

Home going services will be held on Saturday,  September 20, 2014,  12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Robert Toney, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.
