Ms. Barbara Jean Jones, age 87, passed from this life on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at     approximately 10:45 p.m. at Liberty Nursing      Facility in Lima, OH.

She was born on January 23, 1937 in Rustburg, Virginia  to Elizabeth Perry.  Her mother preceded her in death.

Ms. Jones retired as a Receptionist for Attorney Melvin Beiter.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory two sons; Charles C. (Ada) Jones of Lima, Ohio and Ethen and Sherry Watson of Maryland.  7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. 2 sisters; Blanche Word of Baltimore, Maryland and Mary Alexander of Virginia.  A host of nieces, nephews other  relatives and friends.

Ms. Jones was preceded in death by a sister;     Bertha Marshall.

Home Going Services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025  at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home with Elder Ronald Fails, officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025  at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
