Obituary of Arthur Vernon Upshaw

Arthur Vernon Upshaw, age 50,  passed from this life on Monday, August 21, 2023. He was born on July 1, 1973 in Lima, Ohio to Arthur (Blanche Carpenter) Upshaw and Phyllis L. (Lee) Stewart. Both parents survive him in Lima, Ohio

Arthur leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons:  Kearre Upshaw and Keaton Upshaw, both of Lima, OH; 2 daughters:  Teysha Upshaw of Flint, MI and Monae Upshaw of Seattle, WA; 2 brothers:  Chris Marshall and Jovhon (Tatanesha) Carpenter, both of Lima, OH; and 1 sister:  Revell Upshaw of Lima, OH; and his grandmother:  Helen L. Shurelds of Lima, OH.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, L.V. Shurelds and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Eartha Upshaw.

Home Going Services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Saviors Grace Ministries with Pastor Claytonia Manley Logan Officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. also at the Church.
