Ms. Arnester Commons, age 87, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at approximately 6:03 a.m. at her residence in Lima, Ohio.

She was born on March 21, 1933 in Hillsboro, Alabama to the union of Frank and Pearl (Henton) Commons, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death.

She retired from Airfoil-Textron.  She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church; she enjoyed fishing and yard work.

She leaves behind to cherish her precious memory a son; Richard Commons of Lima.  2 daughters; Annie Sharkey Tyson of Lima and Jacqueline Key of Henderson, NV.  6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  A brother; Jesse Lee Commons of Columbus, OH.  A host of friends and extended family that were cherished.

She was preceded in death by her daughter; Barbara Ann Sharkey.

Home Going Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Dr. B. LaMont Monford, Sr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.
