Mr. Anthony Wayne "Tony" Talbert, age 63, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 at approximately 12:20 p.m. at Autumn Court in Ottawa, Ohio.

He was born on December 13, 1953 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Samuel Talbert and Rosemary Thomas Talbert Griffith; both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Talbert was employed at Husky Refinery.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Benjamin Talbert (Caryn) of Lima.  2 daughters; Samantha Talbert of Lima and Emily Talbert  (DeShawn Bowens) of Huntsville, AL. 2 children he treated like his own; Jenalee Slayton and Samuel Slayton.  13 grandchildren.  4 brothers; James Jones of Houston, TX.  Douglas Jones (Mary) of Detroit, MI. Joseph Jones (Donna) of Meza, AZ and Bruce Talbert (Christy) of Lima.  3 sisters; Lana Mourning (John) and Leslie Tucker both of Lima and Deborah Talbert of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by a sister; Carol Washington

Services will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 12:00 noon at   Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
