Ms. Annie Ree Williams Turner, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 6, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m. at her residence in Lima, surrounded by loved ones.
Ms. Turner was born on August 7, 1938 in Grady, Alabama to the union of Golden and Sweetie Johnson Williams, both parents preceded her in death.
Ms. Turner retired from General Motors Corporation after 25 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local 211. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Usher Board.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Jeffrey Williams, Sr. and a daughter, Joan Williams both of Lima. 7 grandchildren; Rochelle Clay, Shamell Williams, Katrina Williams, Sharonda Williams, LaShonda Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Jr. (Ashley), Khiry Smith-Williams. 15 great-grandchildren. 3 brothers; Luvert Williams of Cleveland, G.W. Williams (Darlene) of Defiance, and Lorenzo Williams (Shonda) of Lima. A special son; Willie F. Knight, Sr. of Lima. A special granddaughter; A`Nijah Clay of Lima. 5 special friends; Louise Bibbs, Pat Guice, Ann Holmes, Lucille Shurelds and Helen Shurelds. Special caregiver; Tammy Burden. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Otha Lee Williams and Willie Mack Williams and a sister; Sylvia Williams.
