Mrs. Annie Mae Brown, age 99, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at approximately 1:50 p.m.  at Lima Memorial Health Systems in Lima, OH.
She was born on May 6, 1918 in Greenwood, Mississippi to the union of Bob and Mattie (Robinson) Petaway; both parents preceded her in death.

On December 9, 1939  she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. William M.  Brown, Sr., who preceded her in death on June 6, 2004.

Mrs. Brown worked as a Housekeeper for Tuttle Construction Company.  She was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church where she sung in the choir, was a member of the Missionary Circle, and also a member of The Eastern Star.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons;      William M. Brown, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Booker T. Brown both of Lima.  Henry Jones (Betty) of Detroit, MI. 27 grandchildren, 62 plus great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; a daughter; Mattie      Henderson.  A stepson; William Brown.  A grandson; Marcus Brown, 1 great grandson; Anthony Brown and 1 great-great grandson; Emmanuel Jefferson. 6 brothers; Willie Petaway, Josephus Petaway, Olive Petaway, Eddie Hollingshed, Cary Hollingshed and Robert Hollingshed.  2 sisters; Margarette Daniels and Cynthia Ware.
