Anna Louise "Wheezie" Jackson 76, of Lima, Ohio passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.

Anna Louise was born June 28,1948 in Eutaw, Alabama the daughter of the late George and Elise Mayes.

Anna Louise openly affirmed her belief in Christ at a young age.

She was preceded in death by: two sisters Maria Mayes and Elise Mayes, one daughter; Rochelle Jackson and three great-grandchildren; Amyaha Elise James, Lorenzo Londez James, and Royce Amir Johnson and special nephew Cornelius Mayes.

Anna was a commercial driver for many years, which took her all over the country. She enjoyed the art of sewing and crocheting. She had the amazing gift of growing a seedling to a beautiful plant with ease. She was a mother to many and a stranger to none. Anna Louise was blessed with a powerhouse voice for Christ. She let her light shine wherever she went.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Chitquata Monique (James) Williams, Renee Jackson, one son Lydell (Ashley) Jackson and three nieces that she raised as her daughters Ann Carlotta Mayes, Lisa Mayes, and Rayette Mayes. A sister:  Louida (Bill) Russell.

She leaves ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren with one on the way.

Anna Louise leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to celebrate her life.

Home Going Services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Fourth Street  Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Ayers officiating.

Visitation/Wake Services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to time of service also at the church.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
