Mr. Alonzo Lamont Williams, Sr. age 48, passed from this life on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at approximately 5:48 a.m. at his residence in Lima as a result of a fire.

He was born on December 4, 1967 in Sidney, Ohio to Ronnie Lee Smith and Lillian Williams.  His father survives in Lima, his mother Lillian Williams Simmons survives in Lima and his stepfather; Leslie Henderson, Sr. survives in Lima.

Mr. Williams loved to watch sports with the Fella's and had a big smile for everyone.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Alonzo L. Williams, Jr. of Lima.  A daughter; Samantha Gordey of Cincinnati, OH.  His Fiancé; Jackie Forrester of Lima.  A grandchild; Alanze`.  A brother; Travis L. Williams of Lima.  7 step-brothers; Ronnie Smith, Jr. of Columbus, OH.  Marc Bratton, Ronnie Smith, III, Leslie Henderson, Jr., Prentice Cooks, Sr.  all of Lima.  Darian Simmons of Cincinnati, Ohio. Kendall Henderson of Lexington, KY. 9 step-sisters; Crystal Gurley, Kami Wilkerson, Javon Smith, Donna Henderson-Callahan and Kanisha Smith all of Lima.  Linda Washington, Lashawn Pyle and Leslie Simmons all of Atlanta, GA. Carmen Henderson of Lexington, KY.

He was preceded in death by his step-father; Larry C. Simmons.  Paternal grandparents:  Louis C. & Alma B. Smith.  Maternal grandparents; Robert & Annie Williams.

Home going services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 12:00 noon at In Faith Ministries with Rev. Michael Lyons, officiating.
