Wardell Macklin, Jr.

Mr. Wardell Macklin,  Jr.,  age 65, departed this life on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at approximately 12:28 am at Lima Memorial Hospital here in Lima.

Born March 2, 1953 in Lima, Ohio to Wardell and Ella M. Johnson Macklin Sr.  Both parents preceded him in death.

On May 28, 2014 he married Gloria Jean McCleese  who survives in Lima.

Mr. Macklin was a U.S. Marine Veteran.

Besides his loving wife he leaves to cherish his memories 1 Daughter:  Sabrina Coleman (Bruce) of Virginia.  1 Grandchild and 30 Step Grandchildren.  4 Stepdaughters:  Misty Webb, Kim Cline and Chastity Bradley (Vern) all of Lima.  Mindy Patrick (James) of Marion, Ohio.  2 Sisters:  Rose Snider (Paul) of Ferndale, Michigan and Tasha Macklin of Columbus, Ohio.  3 Brothers:  Glen Macklin and Charles M. Macklin (Annette) both of Lima, ohio and Matthew Macklin (Amanda) of Seattle, Washington.

He was preceded in death by a Brother Paul Macklin.

Services will be held Friday May 4, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  Visitation/Wake services will be held on Thursday from 6-8 pm also at the funeral home.

Rev. Linwood Holland will be officiating and interment will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery.
