Shirley Ann Freeman-Henderson

Mrs. Shirley Ann Freeman-Henderson, age 61 , passed from this life on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at approximately 1:09  a.m. at her residence in Lima.

She was born on November 4, 1956  in Birmingham, Alabama  to the union of Jimmie and Ruby Odesser (Johnson) Freeman, Jr.; both parents preceded her in death.

On April 17, 2000  she married John Allen Henderson  who survives in Lima.

Shirley worked at Ford Motor Company.  She was a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a member of Local Union UAW #1219.

Besides her husband John she leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons; Samuel E. Freeman of Columbus, OH and Earmon E. Henderson (Cori) of Cincinnati, OH.  3 daughters; Felicia Freeman and Ashley Henderson-Woods (Dominic)  of Lima.  Mildred “J J” Henderson of Columbus, OH.   6 grandchildren.   A brother; Jimmie L. Freeman (Regina) of Lima.   A sister; Delois Lewis of Lima.   A host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Dorothy Jones and Elizabeth Brown.

Services will be held on  Wednesday,  July 18, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Austin Lewis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
