Mr. Ronnie Lee Smith, Sr., “Main”, age 68, passed from this life on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at approximately 11:07 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

He was born on August 28, 1948 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Louis Charles and Alma Bernice (Southern) Smith, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Smith attended Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed watching Sports, Black and White movies and chillin with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 3 sons; Ronnie L. Smith, Jr. and Ronnie L. Smith, Jr. both of whom live in Columbus, OH.  Javon L. Smith of Lima.  3 daughters; Crystal S. Gurley of Bowling Green, KY.  Kami P. Wilkerson and Kanisha L. Smith both of Lima.  9 grandchildren.  3 brothers; Earnest L. Smith (Ginnice) of Union City, TN.  Michael Smith (Vicki) and Timothy Smith both of Lima.  4 sisters; Beverly Long Winifred (Bill) of Perrysburg, OH.  Debbie Herron (Robert), Verna B. Wash (Rev. Steven) and Carmen Smith all of Lima.  A special companion; Bernita J. Williams  of Lima.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son; Alonzo Williams and an uncle; Louis Smith, Jr.

Services will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Toney, officiating.

Visitation Wake Service will be on Thursday, April 6, 2017  from 4-8 pm with the family present from 6-8 pm at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home.
