Jeanette Woodley

Mrs. Jeanette Woodley, age  86, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at approximately 10:36 p.m. at Springview Nursing Home in Lima.

She was born on August 21, 1932 in Kenton, Ohio to the union of Oscar and Harriet W. (Jackson) Worthington, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death.

On October 23, 1971 she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. James Woodley who preceded her in death on June 17, 2007.

Mrs. Woodley retired from the United States Postal Service.   She was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church where she was a former choir member, kitchen committee, Mission and Sunday School Helper.  She was a member of Eastern Star Cyrene Chapter #31.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a brother; Curtis Worthington (Helen) of Kenton, OH.  2 sisters; Martha Woodley of Lima and Maybelle McPherson of Kenton, OH.  A granddaughter; Janae Worthington and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son; Craig Worthington.  4 brothers; Orville Worthington, Oscar Worthington, Jr., Vincent Worthington and William Worthington.  A sister; Rowena Worthington.

Home going services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m.  at Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church with  Rev. Nathan Madison, officiating and Rev. Earnest  Stephens, Jr., eulogizing.

Visitation/Wake will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 noon also at the Church.

Interment:  Woodlawn Cemetery
