Geraldine Dawson

 Mrs. Geraldine Dawson , age 85, went to be went home to be with the Lord  on Wednesday May 23^rd, 2018 at approximately 2:00 p.m. at her residence in Warren, Ohio.

She was born February 13, 1933 in Warren, Ohio to Harry Johnson and Helen Barrow both parents preceded her in death.

In 1955 she was united in holy matrimony to Lee A. Dawson who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Dawson retired from Trumbull Hospital after 27 years of service.  She graduated from Warren G. Harding high school and went on to attend Kent State University. She was a dedicated church member of Third Christian Church where she took on the role as Church Historian.  She contributed her time raising finances toward the remodeling of portions of the church.  She was also a member of the Warren Community Volunteer Council  and Avid Family Tree organizer.

 She was preceded in death by her second son Lawrence A. Dawson.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a beloved son Terry L. Dawson of Warren, Ohio and two grandchildren: Chermico McCorry and Meyah Manigoe of Columbus, Ohio. Also five great-grand children: Malcolm, Rockmon, Dasha, Brandon and Rand.

Home going services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018  at 12:00 p.m. at Third Christian Church in Warren, Ohio with Rev. Robert Faulkner, officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held on  Friday, June 1, 2018  at 10:00 a.m. until time of services  at Third Christian Church in Warren, Ohio.

Interment: Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery in Warren, Ohio
