Eddie McClellan

Mr. Eddie McClellan, age 65, passed from this life on  Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at approximately 2:05 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems  in Lima, Ohio.

He was born on January 22, 1953 in Durant, Mississippi to the union of Robert and Beatrice (Alexander) McClellan, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death.

Eddie was a veteran of the United States Army.  He had worked in construction in and around the Lima area.  He loved to play cards, sun bath and was known for helping anyone that was in need of help. He was a member of the American Legion.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory; a son; Samuel Williams.  8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  2 brothers; Robert McClellan, Jr. of Lima, Ohio and Leon Bundley of Columbus, OH.  4 sisters;  Ulla Hall, Annie Bundley (Nate) and Johnnie McClellan all of Lima.  Eva  Young of Michigan. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Willie McClellan and Charlie McClellan.  5 sisters;  Mae Emma McClellan, Mae Liza McClellan, Ethel Bell Stapleton, Alice Mae McClellan and Ella Pearl Fisher.

Home going services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Robert Curtis, Jr., officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will begin on Thursday, March 22, 2018   at 10:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home.

Interment:  Dayton National Cemetery
