Daisy Mae Madlock

 Daisy Mae Madlock, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at approximately 7:49  p.m. at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

She was born on September 8, 1942 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to the union of Allen and Anne Mae (Williams) Madlock, Sr.; both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony in 1961 to Mr.  Freddie Cooks who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Madlock worked in Housekeeping at Days Inn.  She was a member of I Can Celebration Ministries.  She loved to fish and play cards.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Bobby Coleman of Lima.  2 daughters; Cora J. Haynes (Solomon) of St. Louis, MO and Ella M. Cook of Lima.  7 grandchildren; Iesha, Shedella (Chris) , Larita, Jeanie, Diesha, Shemeric and Soleil and 8 great-grandchildren.  3 brothers; Allen Madlock, Jr. (Elizabeth), Eaton McKinley and William Woodley all of Lima.  7 sisters; Daisella Versey of Chicago, IL,  Eva Hudson of St. Louis, MO. Betty Youngblood, Verno Bryant and Mary Woodley all of Lima.  Dorothy Stearnes of Ruleville, Miss, Jean Williams of Milwaukee, WI, Johnny Mae Woodley of Dondi, Miss and Lue Woodley of Detroit, MI.  A special great great niece; Heaven Madlock.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother; John Madlock and 4 sisters; Annie M. Rhodes, Donna Woodley, Lola Flowers and Lureatha Williams.

Interment – Woodlawn Cemetery
