Mr. Walter Louis Patrick, age 75, passed from this life on Friday, September 23, 2016 at approximately 12:30 p.m. at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. 

Mr. Patrick was born in Griffin, Georgia on November 24, 1940 to the union of Henry and Ossie (McDowell) Patrick; both parents preceded him in death.

He was united in holy matrimony in July of 1963 to Rosie L. Jones, who preceded him in death on January 24, 2012.

Mr. Patrick retired from General Motors Corporation after many years of service and was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  He was a member of U.A.W. Local 211 and American Legion #96.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Bruce A. Patrick (Vashell) and Gregory L. Patrick both of Lima.  3 grandchildren; Timothy L. Patrick, Tara L. Patrick and Dacotah L. Sterling and 5 great grandchildren.  2 sisters; Sherlene Thompson of Columbus, Ohio and Virginia A. Oglesbee (James) of Lima.  3 brothers-in-law; Jerry W. Jones, III and Benjamin Carter both of Lima.  John T. Jones of Dayton, Ohio.  

He was preceded in death by a sister; Dorothy M. Carter and 3 brothers; Robert H. Patrick, Willie E. Patrick and Jimmie L. Patrick.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  with Rev. John E. Kidd, officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held 1 hour prior to services on Saturday, October 1, 2016 also at the Funeral Home.

Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery
