Terrence Jamaine Harper, age 25, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 23, 2017 at approximately 3:08 a.m. St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born on October 22, 1991 in Lima, Ohio to Christopher G. Harper, Sr. and Jacqueline F. Sanders; both parents survive in Lima.
Terrence confessed Christ when he was 9 years old. He was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church, his first duties in the church was an usher; doorkeeper. He attended Bath District Schools and Lima City Schools. Terrence loved football; he was a dedicated, passionate employee of Staff Mart for several years. He was an asset to the company and loved by everyone he worked for. There was no one he met that didn’t love him. He had a smile that would light up any room. He was a very nice person and a father who adored his children.
Besides his loving parents he leaves to cherish his precious memory a son; Bravi’on Harper and a stepson; Emiliano “EJ” Todd both of Lima. 2 daughters; Ke’Asia Worthington and Skyah Harper both of Lima. A brother; Christopher Harper, Jr. (Myranda) of Lima. 2 sisters; Symone Mann of Atlanta, GA and Myla Harper of Lima Special friend; Breanna Todd and a special aunt, Paulette Allen of Lima.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Beatrice Spencer and James
Sanders. Paternal grandparents; Clyda Mae Harper and Homer Harper, Sr.
Home going services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Philippian Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. B. LaMont Monford, Sr., officiating.
Visitation/wake services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
