Mr. Lewis Browning, Sr., age 66,  passed from this life on Wednesday January 20, 2016 at approximately 7:51 p.m. at his residence in Lima.

Mr. Browning was born on March 3, 1949 in Fostoria, Ohio to the union of Postel and Clara Epps Browning, Sr.; both parents preceded him in death. 

He was formerly married to Windy Sewell Browning, she survives in Lima.

He retired from the Maintenance Department at General Dynamics over 29 years of service.  He loved to cruise around and tell jokes.  He loved to smile and enjoy people.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 sons; Lewis Browning, Jr. of Texas and Davion Browning of Lima.  3 daughters; Domonique Turner of St. Louis, MO, Autumn D. Swanson (Russel) of Lima.  Moesha Browning of Toledo, Ohio.  3 grandchildren;  Aja, Asani and Addy.  4 brothers;  Postel Browning, Jr., Marshall Browning (Leah), Willie Browning and Joseph Browning all of Fostoria, Ohio.  3 sisters; Martha Dulin of South Carolina, Patricia Browning of Fostoria and Whonetha Edwards of South Carolina.

Home going services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Higher Ground Ministries, 456 Columbus Avenue in Fostoria, Ohio with Pastor Tonee Morant officiating.

Visitation/Wake services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc. and also on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Higher Ground Ministries in Fostoria from 10:00 am until time of services.
