Mrs. Letha Mae Towns-Walton, age 65, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at approximately 1:10 a.m. at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born on March 9, 1951 in Drew, Mississippi to Levi Collins, Sr. and Ilether Robinson; both parents preceded her in death.

She was united in holy matrimony on March 23, 2002 to Mr. Sammy Lee Walton, Jr., he survives in Lima, Ohio.

Mrs. Walton retired from the Oakwood Correctional Facility as a Secretary after over 30 years of service. She was a member of New Greater Grace Missionary Baptist Church where she served as the Church Secretary, served on the Usher Board, Kitchen Committee, and was a Trustee.   She was also a member of the Choir.

Besides her loving husband Sammy, she leaves to cherish her precious memory 2 sons; Norvell “Nicky” Roach of Ft. Wayne, IN.  Sammy Lee Walton, III (Timika) of White Plains, MD.  3 daughters; Katamba L. Morrow (Rodney) and Katrina M. Tucker (Clifton) both of Ft. Wayne, IN.  Tiffany A. Wright (Kevin) of Lima. 20 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 2 brothers; Rev. Levi Collins, Jr. (Mary) and Eddie Collins both of Lima.  A special nephew; Cordaryl Weeks of Ft. Wayne, IN. 

She was preceded in death by a sister; Idella Hunter and 2 brothers; Scott Collins and Johnny Robinson.

Home going services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Eleventh Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. King Beverly, officiating.

Visitation/wake services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Chapel of Jones-Clark Funeral Home, Inc.  from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
